Boxing Day 26th December
After the poor weather on Christmas Day we were expecting to awake to a rainy day, it was however the complete opposite, sunshine and little cloud, and very humid !!

We had breakfast at the hotel and then made our way to the ground a short walk of about half a mile. We settled down in the hospitality suite we had booked and waited for the England team to take the field after losing the toss.
Two quick wickets gave England the advantage as Anderson and Broad struck quickly.
Kallis and Smith the dug in and set about building a partnership, this they succeeded in doing as they saw the Proteas through to lunch, the run rate being raised in the last half hour as Broad bowled far to short.
The second session was tough as the partnership grew, both batsmen reaching fifty and then the hundred and fifty partnership.
Then out of nowhere Kallis was snaffled at first slip of Swann just after tea. |
Then Smith decided to give away his wicket by getting himself run out and Onions finally got what he deserved when he bagged Duminy LBW to put England back in the driving seat at 175-5.
The video provides some views of the ground an even better view at around 3 minutes, some action from the cricket and summary from the "Analyst" at the end.
Weather forecast promising from the Taxi driver this evening.
I enjoyed the highlight 3 minutes in, any chance of similar on future videos?
