Wednesday 30th December
We awoke full of excitement and anticipation of a tour victory, not many have seen an away win and Greenie looks like he is going to see a win at his first away test match, lucky fella !!
We got into the ground and joined the Barmy Army in the corner stand it was going to be a party and the atmosphere was going to be savoured. The morning was once again overcast, but was soon brightened up by Swann sending Morkel back to the pavilion, no nightmare long partnership from the last two reconised batsmen. Broad then got the prize wicket of Boucher and everyone was singing and enjoying themselves it was only a matter of time before the victory could be celebrated.
Jimmy Anderson replaced Broad and got rid of the top scorer Harris and then quite fitting Swann bagged five wickets and the celebrations started.
